I found with the shooting games I have played in VR that being able to shoot 360 degrees completely independent of your view is the biggest "game changer". It also makes you feel like a badass when you kill something to your side or behind you without looking
There is also another Counter Strike VR clone called Onward which again I haven't played yet but I saw a video a while ago where people have been lying down and playing dead as a tactic. It would take me too long to get up off my fat arse though for that to work for me.
This is a pretty cool video showcasing the future of vr guns
Yeah locomotion will be an issue with VR until we all get omni-directional treadmills :-P. Moving with a thumbstick/trackpad like in traditional games can ruin the immersion and it can cause motion sickness but I have found that the vast majority of people on VR forums prefer it that way once they have been playing VR games for a few months.
I prefer teleportation in shooting games but I am in the minority here and it doesn't work in every situation. The best locomotion and the most immersive game I have experienced so far is Lone Echo which is in zero gravity. You push yourself off of objects and have iron man like thrusters in your hands. It is incredible.
Some guy has made a natural locomotion program on steam where you move your arms to walk/run and it can replace thumbstick movement on any steam vr game. It is getting good reviews because it feels a lot more natural but it is probably not for everyone.
For me the biggest issues with VR I have found are:
1. I am too lazy for physical exercise.
2. Interacting with people online is a lot more intimate.
3. I am too easily scared.

Man that VR gun thing is p fun looking, but like everything else I've seen VR wise, seems like a starter concept thing.
Nothing short of a treadmill that dynamically changes in regards to resistance and what not based on what's happening in the game will have any effect on VR sickness. The disconnect your inner ear deals with in regards to VR vs reality is not going to be fixed by just moving your arms or running in place on something like omni.
VR sickness is a bit like sea sickness. It only effects some people and most people can get over it once they get their sea legs. The first week I had a rift I got fucked up playing Dirt Rally. I played other games that don't have movement that can cause sickness, got used to vr a bit more and went back to it a few weeks later and now I can play it for hours without any problems.
Unfortunately though a small number of people will never get over it.

Inquisition’s ending was satisfying, but Trespasser was great, more like a mini sequel than the “true” ending it’s pitched as. I really like how unafraid that game was to completely fuck with its cast and its lore. How do I hold all these betrayals and historical lies? It sets up a sequel wonderfully.
Now I resent Anthem’s existence even more, EA moved everybody off DA4 to make that (causing one of the main creative leads to bail on the company) so if it doesn’t work out Bioware is done. And it sounds like they’re GAASing up DA 4 even if it does get finished.

Remember, whenever you look at GameFAQs you are essentially supporting Socialism and the Antifa Super-soldiers.
By rvy Go To PostP5 for 30€ is still too expensive for someone that does not care about jRPGs.
but do you care about cute girls and dating them?
What a fun little puzzle game with a surprisingly dark theme. I either forgot that parental abuse from an alcoholic father was its core theme or didn't know going in. Either way, the narrative is conveyed to the player and unfolds within it's fantasy world in a way that doesn't feel that far removed from reality.
And how many games have little black boys as their lead dealing with empowerment who physically and emotionally evolve as the game progresses? The character you play, Quico, looks like a total badass by the final chapter.
It's good stuff. I'm glad I spent the time (about 6 hours total over two nights) and finally got to this one.

The old games straight up had Hitler as a boss (while still having the warning, that everything is fiction and characters that appear to be based on real life characters, is a coincidence)
these days they are more into dick bosses though
and n8 demons
What a fucking game, lad.

Coming to the end of KotOR. Still a great ride. They could literally just redo the graphics and fix the glitches and it would be phenomenal.
I booted up Sith Lords on Steam just to see, but it doesn't really play all that nicely with a controller?

As Microsoft’s need to protect its IP spun up, we reached out to members of the ElDewrito team to have an open discussion about the project and the admittedly difficult situation we all find ourselves in. The ElDewrito team is understandably upset at this outcome given the time they’ve each invested in this project, but they understand the legal implications and the need to press pause on this work. One thing remains clear – the community really wants more Halo on PC. As we look ahead, we’re very excited about the prospects of an official classic Halo experience making its way to PC and we hope to be able to partner with the ElDewrito team and broader mod and content creation community to help inform the types of experiences and features our fans desire. While we have nothing to announce today, please know that the PC community is very important to us and top of mind as we work towards the future.
We’d like to extend our thanks to the community at large for constantly pouring so much passion into Halo. While it’s unfortunate to find ourselves as the bearers of bad legal news, the outpouring of support and excitement is inspiring and together, in partnership with this community, we believe we can really do great things for the future of Halo.
make it happen
They've already said that Master Chief Collection on PC is something they're looking at after they fix the Xbox version. I'd be really surprised if it didn't happen. I don't think that'll be soon as they haven't even started the public matchmaking tests and the first patch isn't slated to hit til late summer, but maybe this winter.
By Kuma Go To PostSatellite Reign interesting. Game feels clunky, but of kinda fun. Nothing like XCom.get battletech and stop playing smh

I'm playing the SotC remake. Great stuff from Bluepoint. Cinema mode not running at 60fps is a disgrace though. #FuckConsoles
Apparently Switch is supposed to be getting Fortnite. Some big deal is supposed to be made about it still E3 or something.
Congrats Nintendo, for once again, getting the same game everybody else has had for months now. Truly a new time.

It's really not, the dating stuff is pretty limited and can be ingnored entirely. It's a really good game and this is from somebody who can't stand most jrpgs.
