By Smoke Dogg Go To PostThe greatest Korean movie of all time is The Man from Nowhere.Memories Of Murder is the far superior movie.

I just finished Bird Box.
I really enjoyed it, although reading previous comments,I had thought there was a big twist at the end. Bit of a let down there.

Funny way of spelling A Bittersweet Life
Thought Beautiful Boy was quite good. Steve Carell is turning into an incredible dramatic actor and Timothée Chalamet might be the best actor of his generation. Great acting all around, it made for a tough watch at times.
It must be hell for a parent to see his child go down the drain and being unable to help him.

Old Boy is baby’s first korean film. Not even top ten
It's a pity the Japanese movie industry is far behind from Korea. Sure there's some quality stuffs, but far and between.
Still have a soft spot for Sukiyaki Western Django though.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostJust finisihed watching The Boy In The Striped Pajamas. Fucking hell that was a bleak ending.Never seen people leave the cinema so silently after watching a movie as with that movie.

Searching is probably the best thriller that came out last year.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole last hour.

You Were Never Really Here was interesting. I enjoyed it I guess. Quite a few problems though, with the biggest being the poorly done violence. The action scenes were pretty bad, the fake hits were very noticeable.
Happy to see Olivia Colman get a Golden Globe. Would be amazing if she wins the Best Actress Oscar but I don't think it will happen.
Really enjoyed the Favourite. Wasn’t expecting it to be so funny. All 3 actresses are sensational in the film
I knew when I first saw the trailer that this would happen:
Bryan Cranston has defended playing a disabled character in his latest film, saying his casting as a man with quadriplegia was "a business decision."
In The Upside, the US actor plays a wheelchair-using billionaire who hires a former criminal, played by comedian Kevin Hart, to be his live-in carer.

The Upside could be in the running of the worst US remake of the last few years. I hope that thing bombs horribly on the box office.
Genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed Spider-Man Into the Spider-Man. Though I was kinda thinking throughout it that there'll never be a great superhero film that doesn't rely on metaness/self-awareness.

What is with the Bohemian Rhapsody thing? I can't remember a movie getting such middling reviews on release and then getting so much love in award season.

Freewheelin, your new vote has been registered and I deleted your initial vote
Aquaman has reached 1B$ meaning that James Wan is the 2nd director to have a 1B$ movie in two different movie series (Fast 7 was the other).
It will most likely overcome The Dark Knight Rises as the most grossing DCU movie and should end as the 8th biggest comic book movie of all time behind all 3 Avengers, Black Panther, Incredibles 2, Iron Man 3 and Civil War.
Who the hell would have thought a few years ago that Black Panther and Aquaman would be MCU's and DCU's biggest solo movies?

Also being kept secret from much of the cast and crew are cameos from malignant tumors Tomi Lahren, as a Planned Parenthood volunteer and daughter of Supreme Court Justice Blackmun, and Milo Yiannopoulos, as a callous British abortion doctor described in the script as “an Anglo-Jew from India, with an unusual habit of an awkward giggle at the end of every sentence.” In Milo’s single scene in the film, his and Loeb’s characters perform 32 abortions in five hours in what we can only assume is one of the graphic scenes mentioned above.
Actors who are willing to be involved with this flaming paper bag of bullshit include Stacey Dash, Jon Voight, Robert Davi, Corbin Bernsen, John Schneider, Richard Portnow, Wade Williams, William Forsythe, Steve Guttenberg, Jamie Kennedy, and Joey Lawrence.
