Probably should have checked how big 32 inches actually was lol. This thing is huge. going to have to dismantle a bit f my desk to fit it :k
That feeling when you play a game like Control and you have to pause it and move your head closer to the case to check if the fans are in fact running, because of how inaudible they are otherwise. Based Accelero Xtreme III. Hope it'll maintain GPU mounting compatibility going forward.

It’s compatible with the 2080Ti, just need to fumble around with the VRAM heatsinks. Pretty sure Arctic will update it if the hole spacing drastically changes in the future too. They’re like a budget version of Noctua.
Getting new floor next monday (due to water damage), so what better time to buy a new desk? 800 euros, not what I planned to spend in an already expensive month. But yolo.

I think I paid like 200€ in all for mine.
A corner desk and a pretty big one at that. Been looking for one forever, and a semi local place finally had one in store that you could sit at and try, so jumped at the opportunity. I want it so I can have my high refresh rate monitor with keyboard and mouse space, and then use my two other screens for browsing and so on. It's hard to comfortably use those the way my setup is atm, due to the high refresh rate one being in the middle. High refresh rate monitor is great for csgo and competitive shooters, but a bit shit with just casual use and only 1080p.
I had a big corner desk before my current one, it's great for forearm / elbow support. I knew I'd miss it switching to a straight desk, so I opted for a curved front edge design. It turned out I should've gone with a proper body-shaped dent instead, which I rectified when I sketched my buddy's desk. Even a curve such as this one doesn't do much for arm support. Looks cool though.
This, however, got the job done. We went a bit overboard with the general dimensions though, kek. It's huge in RL. Begs for a triple monitor setup.

it's huge in rl is what they all say
but seriously it looks nice. it certainly begs for a bigger mouse pad as well. wish i could keep my desk that clean, but i know it will be littered with stuff after one week.

The fleshlight is with the rest of my rare dillinger escape plan stuff, to show my love for gregory pistachio
So does anyone know a good 40mm thick radiator? Preferably 240mm.
Alphacool make a 45mm, and there’s plenty of 35mm and there’s plenty over 55mm, but I’m considering going fully silly bastard with my loop over Christmas.
I could go with a 45mm at most on the bottom of my case, but the DP on the second slot of my GPU will likely collide with it and it’ll likely struggle with airflow. I’m thinking a 40mm would be just right, failing that would be a 35mm.
I can also go with a 35mm rad on the side, but I’m contemplating going with either a 30mm (currently on a 25mm) or scraping it completely and going all in with just a thick 240mm. Temps will be higher but noise will be lower and it’ll look nicer. Still bouncing the plans around in my head for now.
Edit: Found what I'm looking for, EK-CoolStream PE 240.

Motherboard and RAM got delayed because they didn't have them at the nearest fullfillment centre. The lad Shabham on CS chat escalated and said they'll be with me with 48 hours. Like do Amazon deliver on sundays in the UK? :(
Sorry to hear it, Facism. I knew there was no way you'd be playing Siege with the lad Vapes over the weekend, but didn't have the heart to tell you.
This is clearly racism. Laboured, what are my remedies?
Vapes it'll likely come tomorrow and hopefully if you have the time we can smash on Sunday.

The packaging for the Sabrent Rocket is pretty nice. The drive is contained in a tin box, lined by soft blue plastic. Incredible.

where is my sympathy.

my aryan friend, i thought we were in this together. i see how it is now.
I havent owned an AMD product since... well since their graphic cards were called ATI and I think not actually part of AMD yet? But now, I have seen the light in Lisa Su's eyes, and I am in love.
By HottestVapes Go To PostNo sympathy for the AMDrones, mate.

Intel is dead, in two years we'll all be singing Lisa's song.
I, for one, always appreciated and respected Advanced Micro Devices.

I looked into the EK Coolstream PE rad more last night, turns out it gets slapped pretty handily by the Black Ice GTS rad.
May as well just go with two of those instead, only 30mm thick but the extra clearance will lead to better airflow for me anyway, or even leave open the possibility of push/pull on the bottom rad.
This is all purely stylistic changes by the way. My loop is still performing well given the case it’s all stuffed inside of. GPU in the mid 50s at full load without cranking the fans beyond 1500RPM or the pump beyond 35%.
Surprisingly good given I’m using a 20mm and 25mm rad, far from optimal but I mainly want to take what I learned from my first experience of watercooling and enhance the whole loop.
Matte black ZMT for tubing, clean up my tube routing, wrap my front I/O plate so only the power button is exposed, thicker rads, and it’ll be as close to perfect as possible.
Might bust the dremel out of the bottom of the case too. Still undecided on that though.

quick question in regards to cooling.
My CPU cooler comes with a single 120mm fan, but has the clips for another on the rear end. I've got a single intake and a single exhaust fan in the case, plus a spare 120mm. Would it be better to put that 120mm on the cooler as exhaust or slot it at the front of the case alongside the other intake fan?

The new X27P is available for pre-order now btw. Don't worry though, Horsie. The only change is VRR over HDMI.
Waiting for the Scan guy to come and install it.
But seriously I kinda went for a nap that turned into me sleeping most of the day :lol

what's the most reliable temp reporting tool? There's about a 15 C discrepancy between core temp and Ryzen Master.
yeh don't know how i lived without a cummy 144hz refresh rate. Incredible. Temps are concerning but i'm reading loads of people running into the old 40-50C idles and ~70C under load chestnut with these processors.
