I actually like the concept of the Evolution cards (the Hakeem and Dwade). Evo card you get and they can be leveled up from lower tier cards all the way to Pink Diamond or Opals in some cases, by completing tasks at each level. I already maxed out that Hakeem Evo card (it's a starter with only 2 levels), and I'm on the Sapphire stage for Dwade, and already there's a world of difference between it and the Emerald that you start with. Got lucky and pulled Giannis, and got that AI in a 5 pack for MT. He's cold af right now especially since position lock is real and a thing. Has 30 gold badges.
Shooting feels off to me tho. Like the window is super tight.

Either the feedback is off or the visual cues are off with shooting. You have to play it to see what I mean.

Then again, I don't like how 3s, in general, have warped the real life sport as much as they have.ProAm and Park will be nothing but 3 point shootouts when people get their badges, the only modes with semi realistic shooting is play now because not everyone has HOF shooting badges like every stretch & sharp in the game.
Smokey is playing low tier Myteam now, so the OP players with all their badges are coming and shooting will be back to crazy levels once he gets them.
Play Now is the only worthwhile mode in 2k but even that is flawed. They need to have those all time/decade teams in a separate mode.

It's too bad because the game is pretty fun so far and I played 2K19 until 20 launched. The MYGM mode was fire last year.

Be careful out there Smokey, there's a glitch that allows people to put players at pretty much any position, Giannis at PG with AD at SF type of glitch.

good thing I'm only on myteam until all the player action photos are updated so I start mycarrer and not get inconsistent crap

it's in a pretty bad state, even by 2k standards. just about every mode in myteam is unplayable because it errors out or crashes afterwards, denying stats, players, and MT. i'm constantly getting disconnected in myteam unlimited from timeouts. and as abu mentioned, position lock was defeated within a day of early release, although i haven't seen it abused like i did yesterday.
