Jurassic World trailer...

JP1 will always have a special place in my heart. It was the perfect movie at the perfect time for my childhood. It also was one of the best movies ever, regardless of nostalgia.
I want this movie to be good so badly but I just know it won't. At least be mediocre. Please.

By Smokey Go To Postthe cg is not impressiveIt looks like garbage. It was so obvious when they showed Pratt with the raptors. Every successive sequel looks worse than the first movie, somehow.

something about the premise also feels off, to me. I guess it fits in with the whole "bio labs" stuff and re-creating dino's from DNA. But creating a new apex predator? Eh. I dunno.

Actually think modified dinos fit in well with the general JP theme (especially from the book). I mean, they already were modified, but it was really only Hammond preventing these types of modifications. I could totally see a company doing it.
But I'm also at the point that I think the general concept of JP can only work once in the film version. You can never recapture the awe the first one presented. The spectacle of an actual dinosaur theme park with real dinos. Yeah, the new park is an actual functioning park, but it just doesn't hit me the same. You can't recreate the magic of the first TRex scene because it's been done.
Maybe I'm just being cynical.

But the story can still be great.

It just seems out of place to me because, none of these JP's happen out of context. Most are in context of their predecessor. So why would they breed a new apex predator on the tourist island? Why wouldn't it be in some 8 layered massive fuck off fenced compound with tesla coils. Why is their response unit 5 guys with normal guns? Why is their no escape plan for all tourists (even if it's just inflatable boats).
Eh, something about THIS concept seems off. Forced stupidity/ignorance.
It would be more believable to me if it was about a pecking order being established and some of the dino's collaborating / becoming smarter / showing some evolution.
They continue to be obsessed with these hybrid dinosaur theories and shit that nobody gives a fuck about
Just watched it. The raptor training seems pointless and incredibly stupid.
They should all be destroyed.
They should all be destroyed.
