The PS4’s new Media Player should now be available for download. Which you should do: it finally transforms the PS4 into a proper media centre, allowing for playback of movies and music over both wi-fi (DLNA) and USB.

By JTS Go To PostBut where's the remote?! Where's the fucking media remote Sony?!?!!?Controlling the PS4 via the PSN app works great. All you have to do is sync your phone/tablet with the PS4 and you can control the main XMB and menus.
Am I crazy here?
Gonna give it a shot and see if I can control movies during playback as well.

Closed Captions
Display Closed Captions.
Probably restart the Media Player.
Load Movie.
Option > CC > Turn ON.
