By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostHe's good, but he just doesn't have the power to make guys at 140 really fear return shots. That was the thing with Floyd is that he had real power that kept guys from getting reckless, his hands were just weak and would break so he couldn't always sit down on punches. I don't think Haney has any pop on his punches, Shakur doesn't have a lot of power either but when he hits guys they seem to think twice about letting their hands go.nah pitbull is C level, he gets schooled by haney.
Someone like Pitbull would definitely just walk Haney down and break him.

Haney is chiney and has no pop, someone like Pitbull is just walking him down.

Why, dont see how betting on yourself to win effects the integrity of the sport?

I'm pretty sure you cant bet on that, just the outcome, I think.
And even if you can, it fighter risking there life.... I kinda feel they're entitled to that choice lol.
And I'm not even sure choosing when to knock someone out has any bearing on the integrity of the sport.

I dislike gambling anyways but the idea of laying a wager and the guy you want to wager has his own agenda seems like bad business.

By losing the way he did Haney lost a lot more in future earnings than he stands to make from splitting whatever Ryan made. The level these guys are at Ryan would need to be splitting like $200 million to make it worth it cause a loss is so damaging to future purses in negotiations.

So the argument isn't just for this fight

I can't see any up and coming boxers doing that, the potential loss of future money and the FBI coming for you are too great. Maybe an old boxer about to retire that is favored? But guys on Haney and Ryans level is just unlikely, losing just 1 fight in boxing is like the great reset. Boxers have been betting on themselves to win for a long time, Bernard Hopkins did it against Trindad too, he's Ryan's promoter so he probably got the idea from him.
