I'm not going to say it's a good movie but it's far better than the first movie.
It's full of nods to the games and ID Software, it is definitely a low budget movie but I was entertained.

By n8 dogg Go To PostThe first one 💀 2019 is the worst. Its even made me doubt the gawd scorseseLegendary frown
By Not Go To PostHow does no one else in all of entertainment have that Marvel tech yet?I doubt the Irishman has a Marvel budget?
Can't go around splashing 150+m budgets on a movie without Super Heroes.
By Lupercal Go To PostI doubt the Irishman has a Marvel budget?$159m budget apparently. Scorsese's most expensive film.

Still, it doesn't look that bad in the latest trailer. I kinda see it but at home with some drinks, it'll be fine.
Think 160 is actually conservative; reports pushing it above 200 because Scorsese is adamant the technology is perfick
Haven't had the chance to see a movie in the theater in a couple years. So my first movie is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood phew💦
Interesting, wonder what made Disney budge.
I see.
Spider-Man will also appear in a future Marvel Studios film.
I see.

Quentin Tarantino is always a great reason to go to the cinema.
By RATHasReturned Go To PostAd Astra is phenomenal. It's so damn good. I caught it last night. Pitt is great (he has to be considering he's alone for most of it), but the cinematography is unreal. They do an amazing job of making space seem cold, dark and scary.
I was beyond relieved that it didn't have some awful twist like the last act of Interstellar.

By the time this movies starts shooting it will be Bret Ratner behind the camera and Nicolas Cage playing Sully.

By Laboured Go To PostWow.
By Flutter Go To PostEvil Sony is almost at its knees! The battle is won but the war is not over! Onwards, Disney!!!!
Remember the days when a Will Smith movie would almost always be guaranteed to be entertaining and, Wild Wild West aside, a box office success?
Can I blame Scientology?

He refuses to take risks, won't play a villain or take a role where he isn't the lead. He declined playing Django because he felt he wouldn't have enough screen time.
I didn't realize how long it's been since he's done something I thought was OK. ALl the way back in 2007/8

Turned out for the better anyway since Jamie Foxx is the superior actor.

Will Smith was the perfect choice. It's really too bad he didn't take the chance.

By unemployed sy Go To PostReally hard to picture anyone other than Foxx in that role. He killed it.Would have loved Michael K Williams as Django but yeah Foxx was great
ad astra has my blessing.
a but too in the nose at the end, but a really great mood piece other.
i love brad pitt.
foxx was easily the weakest member of the cast.
really think will would've done a much better job.

Will smith has had a really weird career since 2008. I am Legend and Hancock were basically the peak of star power for him, where it proved he could take any mediocre film and make it a smash, then he immediately just stopped being in anything big for years. He had Men in Black 3, a couple of mid budget films no one cares about, then eventually Suicide Squad and Bright were his return to more prominent roles. Oh and he had that disastrous attempt to make jaden a star.
By blackace Go To Postfinally got a chance to watch Once Upon a Time in Hollywood…. what a gem fucking hell..
Finally came to Korea. Could have seen it in Hong Kong two months ago, but didn't know it would take so long to reach here.
My first Tarantino in the cinema.
Really was a gem. Maybe my favourite Di Caprio performance. I completely forgot that I was watching a tv show within a movie at one point.
