Sam Esmail really suprised me until the end. I've never expected the show to follow the path it did.
Just wonderful. With alot of well done twists, an incredible cast of actors that weren't that big at the time (Malek) or actors who didn't really were in the spotlight anymore like Christian Slater. A show that treated the themes with honesty instead of doing a comical version of it. A show pulled the right strings at the right moments, driving suspension up to absurd levels at times, while also dragging you back to earth and ground it again.
Season: Game of Thrones S2
I have a hard time deciding between the seasons, because I really love season 1-3 equally. Season one was a wonderful setup, despite lower budget than the following seasons. It managed to introduce important characters, factions, the political drama, the personal drama and just about everything. Season 3 got both alot of payoff and setup and one of the most iconics moments with the Red Wedding.
Still, I think I like S2 the most.
The aftermath of Ned Stark being killed. The back and forth between Lennisters and Starks, both in Kings Landing and on the battlefields.
I think the time between Arya and Tywin are among the best scenes these two characters have.
Nightwatch being out there in the wild, where everything is still mysterious and they haven't botched the white walkers yet.
Battle of black water, the scheming, the introduction of Stannis, Davos, Tormund and so many great characters.
Miniseries:
The Vietnam War, allthough Chernobyl comes really close.
Episode : Mr. Robot S4 Episode 7
407 Proxy Authentication Required
Intense, wonderfully played by everyone involved, outstanding camera work, a revelation to the character and the story.
Just one of my alltime favorites.
Actor : Rami Malek
Apart from seeing him in Until Dawn, I've never had him on my radar or seen anything that had him.
Incredible work in Mr. Robot.
Actress : Carly Chaikin
Pretty much the same as Malek.
Best cast : Boardwalk Empire
Never seen a casting that nailed nearly every character.
Whenever it's an important character or just a side character, but the selection was outstanding.
Buscemi, Jeffrey Wright, Michael Kenneth Williams, Shea Whigham,Aleksa Palladino, Stephen Graham, Bobby Cannavale, Gretchen Mol, Alex Anatol Yusef, Michael Stuhlbarg were really on point with their characters, but there were two that were just perfection.
Jack Huston and Michael Shannon were outstanding in their roles, which weren't easy to play and were alot deeper than you'd expect at the start.
Even the smallerish roles were perfect. Young Enoch Thompson was just like a young version of the character.
Haven't seen another show that nailed it so damn well and had a better casting.
Best network : HBO
They continue with quality output in different genres, making alot of smart decisions.
Compared to Netflix or Amazon for example, you can see their experience in the buisness and it definitely pays off in quality.
Hopefully Netflix can reach that level one day, but so far it doesn't look like it.
Overall this was a pretty great decade for TV shows.
Mr. Robot, Expanse, Westworld, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul, Chernobyl, Fargo, True Detective and many many more.

Twin Peaks S3 ought to count honestly lol but if not, then...
Terriers, Preacher, Better Call Saul, Dark.....man, I give up.
still need to finish The Americans and Atlanta too, I'll update my list eventually

Show: Game of Thrones (Mr Robot is a close second.)
Even if the end was bad, and some of the last seasons lacked compared to the first three, the show was a worldwide experience that glued people to the TV every Sunday for close to the entire decade. There was work spoiler etiquette built around the show.
Best Season: Can’t decide. Each was very memorable for me
Dark: Season 1
Got: seasons 3
Mr Robot: season 1
West world: Season 1
Best miniseries: Sharp Objects
Wow didn’t know what to expect going in. Great acting. The mother (Camille) is just awful and the end was all sorts of fucked up. People wanted a follow up but Amy Adams was like nah ... don’t want to go there again.
Best Episode: whatever the red wedding was
Screaming at my TV at 1:30am after binging and needing to be up at 5:00Am for work
