but that's the thing with cups, one bad game and you're out, Liverpool are the best team in the world and are 90 minutes away from being kicked out in the first knock out round, luck plays a huge part in it
not losing for almost 50 matches in a row, that requires luck for sure, but you can never reach that without being among the best teams in history

i think that madrid team may be one of the best and still acknowledged they had some insane luck/shit refs like knocking out bayern on an offside goal, getting to a final after a semi with a completely toothless city, griezman hitting the post on his penalty, karius, etc

Still insane we won 4 CLs in 5 seasons, even netted a double to boot, 92:48 will always be a moment for me.
We're suffering now, the Ronaldo transition is still hurting us, but we'll make it out of this one. We're one #mbappe2020 signing away I think to make this team click - granted Hazard and company stay's fit. Whatever happens tomorrow, i don't think the season will be over, win or lose, there is still some twists to this crazy season.
That being said, I'm not hopeful about the City return leg, we just don't have the goals in us to net 3.

Yeah, I think every manager is lucky to have that Madrid team but Zidane deserves credit for actually delivering. There were games where it was clear as day his tweaking and direct contribution which helped us win. People forget how Zidane took us -1 point away from wining the league, when we were trailing Barca by -12. Hell, even this season, with all of our injuries, I have no idea how we're still competing for the league - we had no business being where we were in early January given the amount of injuries in the months prior.
