Welcome to the second Pro Evolution Soccer tournament thread. After the sensational victory of last time's champion Zabo, prevailing 3-2 in an epic finale containing three goal comebacks, missed penalties and smashed woodworks, we have all come together to start another tournament; this time, in league format.
RULES
• In this format, each player will play everyone twice, with all games played at a length of 10 minutes per match, Please ensure you record all the results.
• The format is this way so that everyone gets to play a fair amount of games, latecomers can join and then catch up, and no one will be waiting ages to play their next game. fuck u arnie
• No pressure to get your games over quickly; no GW1, GW2, etc.. Just play everyone when you can; doesn't matter if one person has finished all their league matches and someone else has 500 still to go, they'll get there in the end. We're all m8s here, no need to be so regimented.
* At the end of the league format, there will be a play-off tournament between the top 8 teams - 1 will play 8, 2 will play 7, 3 will play 6 and 4 will play 5. This will determine the separate cup champion, and ensure that those who are out of the title running are still playing for something.
• You can play with any 3 star team or below, but you must stick to that team for the duration of the tournament; however, we will accept more than one user playing as the same team, although we do suggest against it for wider variety. You are also free to pick whatever control scheme you feel most comfortable with, because FF will probably beat you anyway.
• Please record all scores and all goal scorers of your fixtures, and post them in the thread. It may come down to goal difference in the end, and we may also be able to crown a golden boot winner!
• Also pls don't lie and say you won 4-0 when you didn't because I will ask the other user and then I will ask reilo if he can ban you for lying.

Yeah, sure. Probably the easiest way. Thing is, no one has to drop out immediately considering the amount of other players that will be available to play, and we could keep this going for a while; over the summer or something to keep us alive while football is dead.

Will start whenever. The good thing about being a league is that if someone isn't available to play, there could be ten others at any given time who can. If you can play a few games every week, that's cool.

Like, let's say 2 guys are head to head in the end, but one had 2 free 3-0 wins agains a dropout and the other actually played them and had a win and a tie. That's unfair. It's benefiting the one who postpones their matches the most.

That's fair enough; hopefully we don't get any drop outs though. The format lends itself better to people with time constraints than the last one.

I'm a very decent player. I think i could lead Botafogo to the terra prometida.
Well I was keen on picking an Eredivisie side to represent the best league in the world. I'm not going to win the league anyways so I might as well just have fun with a Dutch team while I'm at it. And I know the players so that helps.
And that list would help greatly jts! Also, can anyone confirm how recent the squad updates are? Is every summer transfer from before this season in the game? And did they add winter transfers from a few months back?
