By Trey Go To PostCooperation, 3 utility slots, free heals every turn. Just straight up busted. Her heals also give armor too lmaoAnd if you ever choose to NOT use her, your entire loadout has to go in a new direction. No more ammo and grenade choices for everyone. You end up requiring medkits. Shit, you have to research the nano-medkits too.
No more dragon rounds and cease fire grenades for the squad. You have to actually acknowledge how something like poison in the first encounter can fuck you entire mission. Absolutely wild how strong she's allowed to be.
Terminal is broken. After Gears Tactics I want to do another playthrough of Chimera Squad but I want to make it challenging so I'm not going to use her past the first investigation. Everyone says Blueblood is OP and Trey posted that as well, but I never picked him on my first playthrough so I'll try him out.
I think there can be more fun combinations. I loved having Shelter and Torque near Godmother because of her CQC ability of shooting anyone that comes close to her. Quite a few times I had Torque tongue pull in a Praetorian or another tankier enemy, Godmother would shoot and then I would only have to bind them for 2 attacks or so.

I'll be honest and say I didn't give Shelter a fair shot. Got him too late in my first playthrough.
Blueblood isn't OP, but he's definitely the best point and shoot damage dealer in a game where it can be really hard to come by. While he's the best at dealing direct damage (and his breach skill is awesome), he's not doing anything else really. You match him with Claymore though and you'll never be confronted with enemies you can't keep pace with.
I'm split on Torque. Until Sacred Coil, I thought she was top tier 😂 the fall off was mean and viscous. Up to that point I was snatching hostages up and leaving in under two rounds. Choking out Praetorians in my own venom cloud to heal. Living in a world with 100 dodge. Biggest drawback being that SMGs just sucked. Now that I know how important weapon types are upfront too? Bigly changes.

Who are your favorite characters?
Verge seemed to fit my playstyle the best, but I finished the game off with Terminal, Godmother, Zephyr and Torque. I don't even think Zephyr is that good but I just liked punching shit. I should have used Shelter instead, because he's honestly kind of broken IMO because you can delay two enemies turns. In a turn based game, if the enemy can't even really attack then it's just not fair.

Verge is probably one of the best designed characters I've ever seen in this type of game. And he's got the best lore.
So obviously the presence of snek bae means he's a solid #2

Getting plenty of crashes on my second run now. At least the game was nice enough to let me get through my first run.
Blueblood isn't anything particularly special until around the time he becomes a senior agent. Firing not ending his turn is extremely useful in this game because movement/positioning isn't that big of a deal in XCOPS, but damage is necessary is virtually every encounter. He takes off into the stratosphere with the correct kit, where his damage becomes absurd. Can delete basically any enemy off the map in 1 turn from range. AP/Dragon Rounds, superior extended mag + faceoff means the entire room is dying. He can also Faceoff after doing a regular/deadeye shot, so his max damage in a round is what I would consider broken. It's probably higher than the entire rest of your squad combined.
verge is critical in any encounter that has 8 or more enemies. His damage output isn't anything crazy, but his CC is the best in the game, and can stack initiative so high in your favor by straight up stealing turns from the enemy. Second best PA skill in the game for my money, after Faceoff (Terminal's is really close). Shelter's and Cherub's PS skills are really good too, with Shelter's being by far the most interesting/fun/cool in the game.

By DY_nasty Go To PostTerminal is borderline too good. Being a medic with no cooldown heals/defensive bonuses is one thing, but cooperation too?forgot to mention she heals herself between encounters and can heal her breach points once a mission
She is a crutch. Straight up lol
By DY_nasty Go To PostThis patch helps sooooooooooo fucking much thank god
Wait what do tell.
By Laboured Go To PostWait what do tell.Game actually runs smooth for once. First time playing with no crashes, the inventory glitches are gone, and my cheeks no longer clench when reinforcements arrive.
