Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.
When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

With the controller in hand, Naughty Dog’s efforts are immediate. It looks beautiful; its rendition of a flooded Seattle and other decrepit US cities squeezing every last drop out of the now near-seven-year-old PlayStation 4. It's atmospheric, too, going from serene moments of peace to impactful violence. Combat is punchy, brutal and the game’s analogue stealth system feels as responsive and dynamic as Metal Gear Solid V.
The studio has also gone further than any game I can remember in making it their most accessible yet. There’s an entire text-to-speech option for the hearing impaired and the designers have created aural signatures for the blind so that you can navigate your way through the game without eyesight. These Herculean efforts mean that almost any player, of any ability, can enjoy it.
This microscopic attention to detail extends to the soundtrack, too, hiring Mr Robot’s Mac Quayle to compose pulse-inducingly tense combat music that perfectly contrasts Gustavo Santaolalla’s haunting score.
Brazilian Reviewer:
I finished the game with ~35 hours on hard difficultie and collected around 85% of the collectibles.
I replayed through the final 1/3 of the game on survival and played some hours on normal as well.
This is one of the best games of this console generation and it's in the same league as Bloodborne, Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, etc.
I really like the first game but I never felt it was the GOTY of 2013 and miles away of being the best of the gen or of all time, but i must say that I'm really impressed with part II. The game is very emotional and intense, probably the most I ever played.
The major improvement for me was the AI that is much better than the first game, that was somewhat immersion breaking and pretty weak and broken for me.
The level design of the combat arenas and exploration areas was leaps and bounds over the first game as well. Offering much more diversity and scalability.
This game was enterely build over intense set pieces and the immersion provided by the graphics and animations were incredible.
The story could be a little divisive, but as a game I must say Naughty Dog nailed it and I can't find any flaw that must be mentioned in Part II experience.
The pacing is really good, as a said the game kept me interested with a really good use ofset pieces and unsepected moments. I explored almost every inch of the map on hard, so this playtime maybe is not the most accurate for the majority.
I really think that normal/moderate will offer a good chalange to most players and for the majority the game will take something around 25 hours to finish as I belive that most people will not look into the exploration as I did. I really recommed people to explore when permited, there are many missables in these moments.
I didn't like the survival mode because I was almost forced me to play fully stealth or even running/sneaking through the areas. The hard was the best difficulty I played as i could use the stealth and shooting mechanics more freely.
Yeah man i really didnt liked the pacing of uncharted 4. The game best moments were very sparse and the walking sim/climbing moments made me drop the game 2 times before finally finishing it.
Its a shame because I really liked the gameplay and the storytelling.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostMy PS4 doesn’t make any noise. Should I be worried?you're gonna launch TLOU and it'll die.
Unfortunately not, no.
Never really cared about fan noise with my Pro, my sound system drowns it out. I guess TLOU2 will be on the quieter side when stealth-ing and shit, so it might be more noticeable than in FF7R, where there's music and loud ambient noises present at all times, but it should be fine.
I'm just glad I've upgraded to 4K HDR OLED when I did. Now I can't even imagine playing TLOU2 on my 1080p Bravia. I'm so sorry, budley.
The perfect send-off game for PS4. :bigbosssalute:

I can't believe I, me, got into 4K TVs before you, Zabo.
bud you can find high quality cheap ones everywhere now.

4K isn't really that impressive, honestly, unless it's a really, really big TV and you're sitting close enough for 1080p to appear low-res.
OLED + HDR is where the real upgrade is. It's been a bit like going from black & white to colour TV for me. I never want to go back.
The contrast is just insane. Fuck backlit LCD technology now and forever. Shoud've been dumped a decade ago.

By Freewheelin Go To PostTotally agree Zabo, it’s the biggest game changer since 3D for me
but 3D was cheap.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To Postbut 3D was cheap.I meant 3D as in the jump from 16 bit to 32 bit (2D to 3D basically)

4k is definitely noticeable on native content and UHD discs. The Pro doesn't really have many native 4k titles afaik, but there's a noticeable difference.
But yeah, by itself, it's not as impactful as the combo of HDR and OLEDs infinite black/contrast.
