This is an absolutely momentous day in music. System is one of my all time favorite bands, a massive influence on me. And today they released the first material they've written in 15 years, driven by what is happening in the Armenian land of Artsakh (the Azeri regime aided by the Turkish govt have invaded the land, claimed 5000 lives, and are destroying ancient Armenian landmarks).

By FootbalIFan Go To PostAre you shy to say who you listen to (fair enough) or do you prefer not to say?Honestly, I don't really listen to music like that anymore.. DJing has taken the joy of listening to music outside of checking if I can use it in mixes or clubs away.. Probably my favorite artists are E-40 and Outkast... Big Jimi, Zeppelin and Bob Marley of older non-hip-hopmusic.. I missed a lot of the harder rock stuff, I don't gel with it outside of a few songs.
Pretty much hip-hop, R&B, Reggae, Reaggaeton, Afro Beats, and Dance hall is what I do listen to if I have am doing some work or BBQing..

All land is ancient to someone. Karabagh is illegally occupied. It has been since Armenia displaced and ethnically cleansed the region after pushing a war for autonomy nearly 30 years ago. Everyone outside of Armenia sees the land as de jure Azeri. There are 4 UN resolutions calling for the land to be vacated by it's current occupiers and handed back to Azerbaijan.
When I saw them 2 years ago, they did not look like people who wanted to make music anymore. Let alone be on the same stage.
This song kind of feels the same way
I'm sure their song will be emotional though, when John Dolmayan has had time to write about trump losing the election

it's a shame. I've seen them 7 times and they were great every time. Now, it's as you say. The chemistry on stage is like "why am I doing this with these people?"
Man i'd love them to get back to making bangers like Sugar. And put a fucking muzzle on Daron, lad drags down every song where he has a meaningful vocal part.
