Davis would be the third best centre in the league, right? Or is he better than Embiid/Jokic there, I don’t think I’ve seen him play much there.

I guess the other two are the creative fulcrums whereas LeBron is there for AD. From what I’ve watched, I always think he’s stealth MVP when Lakers play well. Seems like they need him to perform for them to perform.

Depends on if AD comes back motivated after a terrible year plagued with subpar play and injuries. If he can match the intensity he brought from his first season he could easily be the best in the league. His defense is elite but offense been shaky.

By DY_nasty Go To PostAD intense? He's showing up ready to blame Drummond next year lolI'm ready to do the same, tbh

Yes, but that is to be expected. Their scheme depends on him being the best playfinisher and one of the most impactful defenders in the league.
He doesn't do the playmaking Embiid and Jokic do because he just doesn't have the chops. He doesn't see double teams very well (though has improved at it dramatically over his career) and is unable to put the ball on the floor in traffic. He is very content to take turn-around jumpers and spot-up mid-range shots instead of putting pressure on defenses to create looks for others. It's just not in his DNA.

By blackace Go To Postwouldn't KAT still be a better center?Nah, he's not even close to Jokic good on defense. He's Harrel bad. That's just a bridge too far.

Imagine Tristan Thompson on a team with Trae Young when he can’t foul bait? He would have averaged like 15 offensive rebounds per game off of bricked 3s from Trae
