Rules say you have to keep a certain distance to SC car and in one of them Sergio left a to big gap to warm up tires, for a moment out of slow corner.
But thats something that happens most of the time, Lewis left bigger gap last SC restart in Zandvoort for example, so cannot see 2x5 sec penalty (other one for the slightly to early start, sc car not past pit entry line)

Sounds like it should be two five second penalties.
Relegate Perez to second and then throw Red Bull out of the championships later in the week.

But as expected,
1st happens all the time so reprimand, don't do it again
2nd, dumb by Sergio, you were warned before and therefore right fully penalised (and 2 pen points)
Sergio wins

Great driving from Perez to keep out ahead. I was sure he was toast when DRS was enabled and Leclerc was just eating into his distance with ease.

Back to back, Round 18 Suzuka Japan
Fantastic track that requires downforce, strong front end and over the years became more and more also a power track, 130R flat-out. Looking at Spa, you would say RBR, but Spa is a bit lower downforce (more efficient downforce track), so Ferrari should be bit closer, at least in Q, race RBR better tire management will see them up top if not already in Q.
Hard to call Merc, as the track is flat and we use C1 to C3 (Mercs best race tires), but it is cold, we have different corner types (harder to set ride height) and also long straights (drag), so prob a bit of a struggle in Q and than better in the race.
Midfield Alpine looks best of rest, but any (pu) penalties, McLaren was bad in Spa, Aston looks good in race trim but bad in Q, AT at Honda home race?
Really bad weather looks to be hitting on Monday, so right now maybe some (short heavy) rain Fri/Sun, but we will see when we get closer to the weekend.

FP1 & FP2
Rain all day, FP1 wets/inters/wets and FP2 wets/inters, but never dry. Times, don't read to much in to them, as teams were on track at different times (Kevin in the end for example) or on used inters(RBR/Fer) or some on new set (Merc).
Usual few offs, Ferrari boys again pushing to hard (both few offs), internal competition or not, they need to find a way to not push 100% all the time.
Clown of the day award was going to Latifi, entered the last chicane wrongly (2 entries, he picked 1st), but Mick going off hard and destroying car, after a practice start when session is done and you are already under pressure for new contract, definitely tops that.
Tomorrow dry, Sunday might be some light rain.

FP3:
Lot of longruns on different tires and fuel loads first4/5th of session and some qualie sims in the end. Some time left for the teams to fine tune balance of the car, but right now would say only Ferrari can challenge Max if they find just a little bit.
Fernando looks like a solid best of the rest bet, been on it the entire weekend.

Haha,
That man should have been given the job on the spot id Charles went out.
Lot closer than expected.
By KP Go To PostWeird incident. Prob a pen for max but not sure what lando was doing either tbhBoth outlap, so looked misunderstanding and Max lost rear a little
By KP Go To PostJust a reprimand for max?so they believed him on his blue eyes.
Think it could have gone either way, no intent but still no full control car all time. Fact both were on out-lap probably pushed it to reprimand.
