Lots of stuff happened at All Out and especially in the main event. But before all that; this is incredibly reckless from Tay Conti and Sammy Guevara.
I think the kick broke Ruby's nose and then Sammy dropped her directly on her head.

There was a very strong 'shoot' angle in the post main event media gathering. I don't know if it's all a work and everyone is in on it. But I don't think it makes AEW look good either.
Post main event spoilers
CM Punk beat Moxley for the title then accused Omega, Hangman and the Young Bucks of leaking stories to the media to make him look bad. Then he went off on Colt Cabana. He seemed furious.
Rumours of a legit backstage fight between Punk and Omega/Hangman/Bucks and the latter are all threatening to quit.

I doubt it's a work if he's talking about Cabana or his mother.
I didn't watch wrestling back when Punk was a thing so I just don't know why I should give a fuck about him. The only interesting thing he's done in AEW was the MJF feud but MJF was the star of that.
Whole thing is all a bit WCW, Tony as Bischoff.

I don't think The Elite (Omega/Bucks/Hangman) are innocent in all of this either. There have definitely been stories published by the wrestling media that slanted Punk in a negative light. These came from somewhere and Punk thinks he knows exactly where.
The issue is that he really shouldn't be airing grievances in public. This is the sort of stuff that you should hear about weeks after the fact when issues have been resolved or someone has walked. Punk is just exploding any good will he and AEW had. He's their biggest star, but either he reigns things in or Tony Khan actually has to act like a boss and discipline him. Which will also cause Punk to fly off the handle but that's a given at this stage.

Also, lost in the mix was Toni Storms comments that she doubted Thunder Rosa was actually injured.
Couple that with Eddie Kingston's suspension for punching Sammy Guevara and you've got an unholy shitshow of festering egos and bad attitude. It's a shame what's happening because a few years ago AEW seemed a great place to work.
I don't think Punk is to blame for all of that though. AEW wrestlers used to talk about how open and available Tony Khan is to speak with. From what I inferred it seems like there isn't actually much hierarchy. Sometimes these guys just need need to be told not to be dickheads, otherwise they'll be punished.

I hope with the promoting TK did so several key figures, those problems would start being adressed but yeah, it seems the festering issues are bubbling up.
That's why some talent got pissed when Kenny told everyone at the meeting to suck it up and start acting professional.

Tony Khan looks like such a dork in all of this. Just last night, he's sitting right there as the Punk thing is happening, he's right there when Toni Storm is saying Thunder Rosa is faking her injury, etc. He never shuts any of it down or tries to stick up for the talent.
All this locker room drama makes the company look so low rent. It's late stage WCW stuff.

Most major outlets are confirming that Punk threw punches at the Bucks. Khan needs to be consistent with his Kingston decision and suspend him. Punk will probably walk out, but it needs to be done.
Khan really needs to tell his wrestlers to act like adults. I don't think Punk is entirely in the wrong here. Something is going on with the Elite and that needs to be reined in. The Women's division has been a shit show for a while now too.

Acclaimed should've gotten it too.
Hayter is so over it's ridiculous, give me that Britt feud and then have her beat Jade pls.
Trios match was a BANGER, MOTN I think. Silver had me believe every time, why not give it to DO ?
Miro is such a beast, this feud can go on a bit more.
FTWAR is a great name, wholesome babyfaces FTR & Wardaddy rock.
Ladder Match was great until the screwball ending but ok.
Christian v Jungly Boy had another turn, meh, could've been done better imo
All in all a great ppv which got a bit overshadowed by drama. Hope TK straightens this shit out. Promote Regal and have him dish out some discipline.

By domino Go To PostThe Acclaimed stole the show last night until all the dumb press conference shit. The right man saw it
"Scissor me, Daddy Ass" being the biggest thing in Pro Wrestling right now is ridiculous. But so utterly pro wrestling that I love it unconditionally.
Punk may have a torn pec.
If he's injured just let his contact lapse quietly and put the belt on Moxley. He's one of the few main event guys that hasn't come out of this situation looking like a complete dipshit.

So apparently suspensions for all involved in the melee and guess we'll see if Punk gets fired for this or not.
I expect an awesome Dynamite with whoever gets called up to fill the void puts on a show.

Lots of jokes on Squared Circle that 'taken off' means they've only now been able to detach him from Kenny's arm.
everyone except punk?
I don't get it
lol, khan is a massive pussy, afraid punk is gonna throw a tantrum and walk out.

I guess Punk's situation is less clear because he's probably closer to being fired than suspended. It's a much bigger decision to make than a mere suspension so they're taking their time. Especially since he's their biggest star and money maker.
Meltzer is reporting that AEWs Chief Legal Officer also witnessed the brawl between the parties. So that's presumably as unbiased a source as you can get.

Punk is injured again and requires surgery. Been an utterly disastrous few months for him and AEW.
Even if he isn't fired for his conduct, you'd have to imagine that he'll no longer be a major part of the world title scene. Can't be trusted to stay healthy for long enough to hold the title.

Maybe they can just cut their losses of Punk at this point?
If it's a pectoral Injury , he'll be out 6-9 months probably.
Would that be enough time to bury a hatchet? Could he even bury it at this point.

If Punk remains with AEW I think the best case scenario for all involved would be for him to finish off his feud with MJF and put him over huge. Then he can exit the company with maybe a bit of his reputation restored. It could still be a big money maker with MJF playing the face this time, saving AEW from the man who tries to destroy it.
It's probably more likely that he's stripped of the title and all parties agree to let his contract expire while he's rehabbing. Just too much bad blood between Punk/The Elite.
Think the Elite need an actual punishment as well. They've acted incredibly unprofessionally in this too.

I think it's Bryan's time for the belt, everything is leading up to it.
Moxley is the man Punk could've been but failed.
Best Friends got robbed again.

I don't think there's anyone better than Punk in terms of believable promos and storytelling in and out of the ring. His feud with MJF was incredible promo wise and for their in ring exchanges. Best feud if the year, I think. Had a banger of a mini feud with Eddie Kingston too.
But his ego, which was kept under wraps, has gone out of control in recent months. It's gotten toxic and he needs to leave wrestling because nobody should have to put up with him.
Moxley is incredible because he can cut believable promos and have great matches, but there's zero hint of ego with him.

Dynamite was pretty good.
Hobbs just oozing menace, love it.
The Firm stable could be good, Ethan Page is the man from that group.
Moxley is going to lose next week is he ? ;_; man needs his vacation.

KENTA was the best wrestler in the world around 06/07. That run in ROH as well as his feud with Marufuji over the GHC Title in NOAH. Perfection.
He was really an innovator of the modern Jr Heavyweight and even Heavyweight style. Swift sharp strikes and high impact moves. So many American wrestlers stole his shit.

It's to bad when he finally got to WWE, he was plagued with so many injuries, a dumb gimmick and bad matchups.
Roman isn't losing anytime soon, so doing this now is a lot better and more coherent than killing the momentum of somebody like KO.
Ultimately, who cares about the Saudi shows anyway. They're almost not canon because nothing ever happens except Goldberg beating the Fiend.

Malakai Black confirms that he asked for his release. From the sounds of it, he has had a very bad few years personally. Suffered multiple debilitating injuries and lost a friend through suicide. Hope he recovers well from all of this.
He also mentions how unhappy he is that his conversations with AEW management about his mental health issues somehow made its way to the media. That company definitely has issues with people speaking to the press when they should be saying nothing.

Time for Danielson & The Acclaimed to get their rightful gold.
I do hope we don't get a MJF / Firm run in, let the man enjoy the moment.
