Extremely dorky video. I like it.
album is 79 minutes thicc. Lots of good shit here and I'm liking the occasional remixed riffs from old songs that they've sprinkled through the album.
1:05 in that song is literally Gunstar Heroes and it put a massive smile on my face. 2:13 is 80's Data East arcade games af too lol
Still listening religiously to Screen Violence almost every day.
It might just be Chvrches best album yet, the lyrics are so good.
Just read this part of Asking For A Friend.
It sucks that the main inspiration for this álbum was the abuse the band (but mostly Lauren Mayberry) got.

'Cause I sunk some ships with selfish lips
And it all came back to me
I was terrified, I never told them why
And the songs I wrote 'bout hearts I broke
Would never come for free
I cheated and I lied but I meant it when I cried
So what do you say when you lose your way?
The past is in the past, it isn't meant to last
But if I can't let go, will you carry me home?
Can we celebrate the end? I'm asking for a friend
'Cause I filled my bed with my regrets
But it hasn't killed me yet

Just discovered The Muslims with their new album release today and oh my god I love it. The Bad Brains/Dead Kennedys influence is very obvious.
By Mister Go To Postthe soundtrack to Akira is a masterpieceIt's an experience.
Converge with Stephen Brodsky (cave in and mutoid man), Ben Chisholm (The Arrmed, Genghis Tron) and Chelsea Wolfe is... Something. I am not sure tbh. I kind of like it. But also a bit too goth mommy for me.

Didn't know this site exists. I want zero surprises in this year's Spotify Wrapped. My top tracks are looking good, only a couple months left to course correct a few spots on the artists list.

Stumbled onto this band from the early 70s and then discovered what is one of the creepiest song I've ever heard. This shit is like proto doom metal but way before electric wizard. Everyone else at the time was singing about sex and peace and this band is talking about 'god in heaven teach me how to die '
