By Mushroom Go To PostThis is an incredibly elementary and reductive post. "America is da best because it has the biggest military, so you can't say anything bad!"Mine was an intentionally flippant post that was tongue-in-cheek, but you've also expounded my thoughts much better than I would done. Cheers
Sanchez is better suited for Man U because he's able to get the spotlight he craves, he wouldn't work well under Pep. Peppito has a great squad dynamic going on over there and I feel a character like Sanchez would unbalance it, only reason I could see him joining was for reinforcement for CL.
FF, I'm sorry about that man :( Mine is nearing the very end too, it's a real stab in the heart.

By confuziz Go To PostFucking hell why do we always need to win in extra time
I also wonder how PSV keeps winning games.
Kane should have won it at the end but we didn’t play well. Alli didn’t step up in Eriksen’s absence.
Good result that.
Obviously we have to win tomorrow - which won’t be easy - but would make things a lot more comfortable. Particularly with the chance to play Spurs at Anfield coming up.

Steven Davis looks so Brexit he's could be cast as random minority hater in Scorsese's next New England romp.
A little surprised the ref blew there with them in the final third.
Oh wow, big miss by Kane. He doesn’t do that.

Just noticed that Marseille are second in Ligue Uuuuhn. That Payet effect, you guys remember that lad?

By Punished Go To PostFucking vital we win tomorrow.I remember when Swansea were your (and Arsenal's) ghost team. Those were the days.
By Bungie Go To PostSomeone needs to step up and injure Sissoko in trainingHe’s probably the worst player starting games for any of the top six.
I get that some players aren’t good at everything, and some have very specific things that they do well, but there are so many basic things that Sissoko struggles to do and very little that he really excels at.
It just feels like Poch got bored and wanted to make a change for the sake of changing.
By Linius Go To PostHow come Eriksen didn't play?
Both him and Lloris are ill and apparently several of those who played were as well.
Top six have really pulled away a bit. All the remaining games that have 2-5 playing one another are going to be intense. Everyone is so streaky and unpredictable.
If we beat Swansea and Huddersfield then Spurs will go into the game at Old Trafford eight points behind fourth.

A big if, of course.
Bad timing to get sick. Hopefully everyone can recover over the next week. Four of their next five are serious business.
Spurs:
Newport (a) 27/01
United 31/01
Liverpool (a) 04/02
Arsenal 10/02

Man, it sucks that things haven't worked out. In a dream world I would've had him stay on and succeed. I truly hope he exceeds expectations over at the Emirates.

18 month contract.. that's a big vote if confidence.
By Arnie Go To PostGood result that.Wont be easy? You are playing relegation favourites Swansea.... It can't be easier.

Its a pretty mediocre CV given they got rid of Silva for him. I suppose Watford is just about the owners system though.

Just awful. Between this, Pogba demanding more money and the Mourinho rumors, United are in real trouble.
