Redo that chart to remove everyone older than 24.
i looked at porzi's advanced stats and was surprised to see he's not that much better now than he was as a rookie, negative bpm was also not what i was expecting
Breh said Fultz shot is so busted he makes Lonzo's look like Curry's
They don't mention his injury and said he has anxiety about the distance of the NBA shit, and that's why they tried to change his shot? I thought it was because of the injury. It is morning spots fodder First Take, but still.
Knux?

I, also, am shocked the Knicks are fucking up on developing someone.

Rockets need to make a move for another big. Not comfortable with Tarik Black at C when Nene is out for whatever reason that comes up at the time.
By Kibner Go To PostlmaoDoes this account for the fact that he plays the 4 in an era where most of the people he has to guard camp at the 3 point line? And he's not soft, he's just physically weak. Let's revisit this in a few years when KP fills out some more and is playing the 5 full time.

Which Plumlee do you want. There are 3.

The times I do see him down low it's not like he doesn't mix it up and fight for boards. Heck I've said many times to run O through other people and camp KP at the 3-point line to take advantage of his outside stroke.

A 1st for Gortat
He can probably play for 4 more years at okay level. But Presti is kind of a draft guy so don't really see him doing it.
edit: Yikes, not sure how yall are gonna match salary for anyone moving forward. That Ryan Anderson deal is horrible.

Did you mean Morey
Basically need a quality journeyman. Black is basically 3rd string C who would get some peak burn here and there due to Nene being in and out. Need somebody who'd be ok with that role.
I'm also getting increasingly worried that we won't be able to keep Capela
By masud Go To PostWho are these other people?I hear Beasley is a legit #1 option these days

Your team will pay the tax to keep him but he's gonna get a max.
I can't look it up rn, but Capela and CP3 get a max, idk what those figures+tax looks like.
Then theres the Bron sweepstakes...

By masud Go To PostWho are these other people?Drive/Kick with Hardaway Jr.? PnR using Jack/Frank and KP? These aren't some strange weird concepts; those are plays the Knicks run already.
By reilo Go To PostI hear Beasley is a legit #1 option these daysThat's Michael "only using 10% of Brain" Beasley to you.
By Smokey Go To PostI can't look it up rn, but Capela and CP3 get a max, idk what those figures+tax looks like.Right now Houston has $117mil in salaries for this season. Their projected salary before signing anyone this summer is $80.5mil.
Then theres the Bron sweepstakes…
The salary cap is projected to be $101mil:
If they were to re-sign CP3 at his current salary ($24mil/yr), that'd push them back up to $104.5mil. Throw in $18-20mil for Capela, and you're looking at $125mil or so, and that's with Ariza not being re-signed. If Houston has draft picks and they plan to sign those players, add a few million for them.
The luxury tax will probably be around $115 - 117mil this summer (up from $113mil for 2018).
That's just an extremely rough educated guess on my part btw.

That's ok, gives me an idea. Appreciate it.
By giririsss Go To PostCapela's not getting a max.
Yeah he is
He's one of the best pnr bigs, athletic around the rim,can protect the rim, runs the floor, and shoots a decent clip at the ft line
He'll probably get a little more than Ryan Anderson
Nobody with cap space lately but you can't disrespect him if you're Houston

I might be joking
Or not

Literally 30 or so others in the league that can replace him.
He's entirely interchangeable.

Name the 30
I like Capela , i don't think there are 30 that could replace him but that offense does inflate him numbers. A lot of cheaper guys could give you 90% of what he gives you. I don't think ive watched him enough to really analyze how good his defense is though.
By Smokey Go To PostName the 30Mate, when even chandler parsons got talked off that capela clff you know you standing there a lone.
But please, max poor mans Deandre Jordan. It worked well for the clippers.

Poor man's DJ?
And you the one who said 30 players can replace him. I just said name them then!
I’m going to say that Capela wouldnt be as successful on most other teams. That pace and spacing the rockets have must be helping him a lot, nash and d’antoni would be getting guys paid in the suns days.
He's a RFA. Somebody is gonna max him and try and force the rockets to match, so one way or another, he's probably going to get it.
It goes all kinds of ways Capela might not be as good on another team, a new person in his spot might have a shit time due to the type of play and team cohesion.

This I agree with. Someone is going to force the Rockets hand, I just don't see them matching it.
