Have you been discharged from the hospital?

Certainly seems like he's becoming an attacking threat down the left hand side. Pogba and Rashford are the most obvious examples of United players improving under Solskjaer. But Shaw's recent performances have been excellent as well.

I was bored last night so I rewatched the highlights of our games under Ole. Our strikers have missed some absolute sitters from balls provided by Shaw. He's looking damn good.

Hi Batong,

Yes, I was diacharged on Wednesday. It brought an end to five nights in hell.

By Zabojnik Go To PostShanks, Zidane or Guardiola?
That is tough. Pep is more of project manager and Juve doean’t really need changing. Zidane might not be the greatest coach, but he won three CLs in a row, which is the goal. Even Pep’s great Barca side couldn’t do the double. The goal at Juve is the CL, and I would be willing to give it to Zidane because of his history at fhe club. Plus he has the cool factor.
By Lego Go To PostGuys, I don't enjoy, or want, anything at all in life, and I don't know why. My mind is always a haze and I can't focus on even the simplest of things.
I take my fish oil, multivitamin and anti-depressant every day, but alas, here I am.
I've lost 90 lbs over the past 7 months, which is something, maybe I'm just hungry.
I recognise a lot from this, even the weight loss. Force yourself to do a lot of things (especially outside). Talk to your family and friends. Also go see a therapist. Set specific short term and long term goals for yourself (goals are important in life and give you a meaning). Meds won't work with this type of chronic depression, at least that is what they told me.
Okay I got two more contenders;
Lux and Aaron. we'll pronounce it the dutch way ofcourse, but that doesn't matter. Which one do you like more?

Lux makes me think of luxury. I would go with Aaron.
A live transmission just popped up on my Facebook feed. Large stage, a bunch of guys wearing team kits, a big table in front of them and they all playing on their phones.
eSports on mobile games is so weird to me.

Aaron is a pretty common name though. You have any other ideas? I like Lucas and Liam too but everyone and their dog have those names.
If you are Catholic, how about Francesco. Named after God and the Pope. Plus can call him Frankie, Frank, Fran, Francis, Franny.
Cheers man. :)))
By rossonero Go To PostGreat to hear that you're alright, Shanks.

You know what made me think Man Utd found the right man with Solskjær today, is the way he behaves with the media. His comments are douchy and irritating. He’s gonna revive the siege mentality at that club. I already hate him enough for starting well. If he continues being a tit, he’s gonna really get my jimmies good and rustled.
And that means you’ve probably found your man.

it's too early to judge ole, the easy fixtures are over, great that he got a point from liverpool but the fixtures here on out are much tougher. also he has run his players into the ground, we'll see how he learns from this. as things stand I don't think ole can be successful throughout a whole season, but ultimately none of this matters under woodward.

Fabian
Excellent name that.

I thought Ole's tough set of fixtures started 2 weeks ago against PSG.
Or was it a month ago against Arsenal.

United have played Liverpool, Spurs, PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal & won 3, drawn 1, lost 1. You could even argue without injuries United would have beaten Liverpool and PSG as well.

Our upcoming tough fixtures are literally PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea, all of whom we have played recently.
Spurs and Chelsea our last two tough games, both at home. I suppose it’s doable. Wish Spurs was tomorrow so we could get at them before their form recovers.

Nothing I saw of the Real of the past 3-4 years makes me believe Zidane would be able to do achieve much more than what Allegri did at Juve. The difference is / was all in the players. Well, mostly.
Both seem much more comfortable in the 'astute top player manager' role than in that of a field coach / bonafide football theoretician, which is closer to what Pep is. At the core, anyway, he's obviously wearing more hats than that right now.
I think that's exactly the kind of manager the current Juve need. As long as we're lagging behind Real, Barca, PSG, ManU, etc. as far as buying power goes, we need to find another way of competing at the highest level. Liverpool got it right and I think Juve could take it even further, if done right.

All I'm saying is we've been signing 'ideal for Serie A' players and managers for far too long now. It made sense when we were rebuilding the club, now it's something that we have to leave behind, if we want achieve that final form.
A lot of the executive decisions of the past couple of years have been made with said objective as the guiding principle, from the new logo / marketing strategy, retiring Marotta and proceeding with Paratici, signing Ronaldo ... I think a Pep / Klopp type of manager is the logical next step.
Having said that, I'd be perfectly fine with Zidane.

Pep would come in and completely change the style of play, and would be demanding a blank cheque to add players. For me, Juve's only problem now is mental weakness in Europe. I don't think Juve ever really thought they would win those two finals, and the exit last year, and possible exit this year continue to show weakness. I think Zidane might be able to do a better job of giving the players the belief that they can go out and win.
Zidane is a shit coach
People will see this when he goes to his next club. Until then, I understand people will rate him highly.

However you want to call it though, it definitely stems from the way we approach big CL matches and that is entirely on the manager and his particular brand of football.
Honestly, I think that with the right kind / quality of players, both the reactive and proactive approch to managing a top team can lead to great results. I simply believe that the latter is easier achieved when you can afford to buy (more or less) any player you want, which Juve can't.
What's particularly funny is that when talking about our chances vs. Atletico, the pro-Allegri faction keeps mentioning matches like Bayern - Juve and last season's Real - Juve. Neither effort was ultimately good enough to see us through, because of how the first leg went. The real irony however is that the Juve on display in those games was the most un-Allegri Juve imaginable. A Juve with nothing to lose, free of any mental or tactical shackles, not preoccupied with defending the usual measly 1-0, a proper gung-ho Juve. All things near and dear to Allegri's heart. Not.
If we put up that kind of performance in both legs, we'd probably have another couple of lost CL finals to brag about.

Think it's better to play mid table clubs at this point in the season. They're nearing holiday mode.
