I don't even get NBA Desktop. His twitter stuff about the Knicks is great in that he's a passionate fan who has to watch a team run by clowns.

It's 2 - 5 minutes of clips of videos / shows he's hosted that week. ... But the shows/ videos can't be found anywhere on the ringer site, or their youtube channel.
It's highlights of nothing.
By giririsss Go To PostI don't follow his twitter, so NBA desktop makes no sense.? those arent highlights, it's the actual content. He just looks at NBA reddit and makes jokes about stuff.

Warriors have a fancy new arena next year, they're offering everyone everything.

“We can do whatever we want (financially),” Lacob said. “And you should expect that that’s not going to be a reason this team … doesn’t stay great going forward. We have the capital to pay our players what they deserve. And we will.
“That’s not really the issue. The issue is more about people have to want to play here and it’s on us to make it a great environment.”
By pilonv1 Go To PostWarriors have a fancy new arena next year, they're offering everyone everything.Didnt your owner want to lowball Curry?
By blackace Go To PostDidnt your owner want to lowball Curry?
Probably. There was a reason do to so then before they put themselves over the luxury tax until Steph retires. Now they're over and will never get under there's no point unless they want to be cheap. And I don't see Lacob as someone who wants that perception now.
This is a slight change in tone from Lacob from recent years. In past moments, Lacob has always said he wants to keep all his best players, but he’s cautioned that there might not be unlimited resources to do so, that ownership at some point has to make some fiscal decisions.
He'd never be able to live it down if KD left AND he didn't offer Klay enough to stay. That's Thunder level cheapness.

But good for Klay for not trying to save billionaires money

By giririsss Go To PostOh, they also don't call each out often enough for terrible takes that people repeat adnauseum until it becomes a "legitimate" stance / take.
I think that's the biggest thing I notice when listening to their pods. Zach Lowe would call out Bill constantly for his terrible takes, but I never hear anyone call out Bill, let alone any other random person that is on their NBA pods for their shitty takes.
They need more thought out, long-form articles because I'm at the point where I don't read any NBA articles from The Ringer (I do enjoy their NFL coverage sometimes.)

I think he would very clearly sign an extension with any number of contenders, regardless of whether or not he has a particular preference.
Miami?
Dion Waiters and James Johnson for Anthony Davis. Take it or leave it, Pelicans.
But really, though. Waiters Island in the bayou. The clock is ticking.
