Amazing movie. Absolutely love the singing and songs in it too. Great visuals. Fun story.
By Apollo Go To PostLast Episode of Mando was meh. So fucking bland with no style tbh
Loved the first three episodes
Yeah, it felt like it was mainly to push some plot points. Like mando can’t ever leave baby yoda, and we got some backstory on his helmet and how he can just stop anytime. Got a new character.
I wanted some explanation of last epsiode though. Specifically why his clan helped him when is seems like he broke a major code. I wanted something that pushed the story forward, but this felt like spinning wheels to some extent.
It felt so weirdly paced.
I do like that they aren't showing him to be a stoic loner, he seems to take and ask for help constantly

Always knew you were Anti-Gamer.

First two episodes of Mandalorian were great. Thought he was going to be stoic too cool for school dude but he's actually pretty endearing. I'd kill for an Old Republic era Star Wars show with all the Jedi and Sith fuckery going down.
Thinking Disney+ is going to be permanent staple for me. You know Disney owns a lot, but seeing the amount of content they own and what they're liable to pump out in the future is staggering. $6.99 a month is a steal.

I've enjoyed all the episodes to varying degrees, but I feel like the show is spinning it's wheels to some extent. The first three episodes revealed a major plot point for the series. Baby Yoda was to be used by the remnants of the imperial army to do some dastardly thing. Baby Yoda was captured and then turned in. Then the Mandalorian saved him (presumably because he too was once a "foundling"). Since then we've got three more episodes and none of that plot has advanced at all. We've got some interesting back stories on Mando. We understand that he can't leave Baby Yoda as the guild will always be after him, and we've seen a cool bounty story. I mean fuck … we still haven't got a damn thing about what happened to his brethren when he left.
By Fenderputty Go To PostI just want good pacing lolthis shit is live action anime breh its the journey not the destination
Yeah as I said, I’ve enjoyed it. I enjoy mando and baby yoda is like chocolate or bacon for a TV series. I feel his presence would make almost anything better. Woulda made season 8 of game of thrones better
The "Episode of the Week" aspect is arguably The Mandalorian's biggest strength imo. Makes the SW universe actually feel pretty large for a change. If the show keeps up, it's easily going to be the best Star Wars related media to come out since the ST started.
It's 100% spinning wheels but I really don't mind. I wasn't expecting much in the first place. We all need a break from binge-a-shows that try to be too clever with cute reveals and cliffhangers. It will get there eventually anyway.
I enjoy a show that tries to make due with few locations and characters, although that's not to say I don't notice the difference in quality from the Favreau written/directed episodes that establish things and move forward, and the ones handed down to more conventional TV writers.

By Fenderputty Go To PostI don’t think meaningful advances in the plot are particularly deep lolYou got what you wanted girl
