I'm a car photographer by trade so excuse all the car pics lol, but here's some of my favorites... the first two are with my X-H1 and a Helios 44M-6 and the last one with the 18-55 kit lens:
And these 3 are from a really recent photoshoot with a local ballet crew and an event we were hosting, all shot with the A7R2 and 24-105:
And then this is my favorite picture of all time:
I did one of the architectural boat tours at Chicago last year and the boat went out to Lake Michigan and gave me enough time to get a panorama of the gorgeoous skyline under the sunset.

One of my favorite shots from work this week(also with Helios 44M-6 on my X-H1):
I'm sure the Fujiheads in here noticed already, but I swear my life on Classic Chrome coz it's the best damn thing ever for any non-living object lol. The only time my X-H1 goes out of CC is when I'm shooting people(I use Pro Neg High for that) or when I'm doing video and I've got it in Eterna.
I wish I can get CC on my Sony tbh, but I also like the ultra clear images from Sony as the lack of imperfections or any kind of shenanigans really puts the focus on composition and your subject.
Thanks!

I’m looking at a beginner camera for taking better photos. I used to have a Canon Rebel years ago, but I never bothered with editing software. Now that I have an iPad Pro and eventually will have a MacBook Pro, I’m more inclined to edit photos whenever I do get a camera.
Any suggestions?

FINALLY loaded up my Loupedeck+ and started editing photos again. This time I took a different approach and decided to build out some reusable profiles within Lightroom Classic. I need to create a couple more for my "preferred" style and roll with it.
Using the Loupedeck makes editing a lot faster though. No more bouncing between awkward menus via a mouse.
My backlog of unedited photos is huge though. Some few hundred from over a year ago including Spain, NYC x2, Mexico, and Portland.

By Wahabipapangus Go To Posti liked it until i saw Sweden gear knobNot just any gear knob, Wooden, it's the pride of Småland and their hard working rednecks.
I picked up the Sony a7rIV and I love it. Been picking up lots of photography work lately. Today I was at a medical manufacturer and tomorrow I'll be shooting at a Mexican restaurant. Had lots of model, portrait, and boudoir work too. I'll post some recent shots in a bit.
Some more.
I'll need to use a different site to embed here. Instagram compresses the crap out of these images.

pretty sure that's a no, it can negatively effect search analytics i think?

By diehard Go To Postpretty sure that's a no, it can negatively effect search analytics i think? That's what I figured. I didn't want to drop nudes, but once in a while there's a bit of skin in a particularly good shot. I'm all in favor of keeping this SFW.

I love it when people do something different than just shoot on the most wide-open aperture they have for bokeh. I like bokeh as much as the next person but god damn, gets tiresome after awhile.
Lovely car and modelling photos!

Loving your photos, jar. Hope you keep posting.
Miss taking photos, weather hasn't been good in the weekends.
Tomorrow is a national holiday here so I am hoping to take my camera out and take some pics.

These look great. This is a type of photography I haven't tried, but I would really like to.
Here's my boy jumping off of a swing.

That first photo reminded me of this I took a year or two ago at work. Sadly with my phone and not a camera, because the jump itself and the reactions are great. Was then told not to encourage the kids to do that, but they still use it on their facebook page all the time.

Just checking the cover, actually.
Two gigs yesterday. Food photography from a Thai place and a model with a bunch of wardrobe changes and settings.
Followed you on there, some great photos m8.
Really missing having a camera that I can carry everywhere. dslr is nice and all, but I dont have it with me 98% of the time unless I know I want to photograph something, and seeing the quality of reilo papangus photos have me trying to convince myself not to splash the cash on a X100V.

Always like to see your updates, jar. Your photos are pretty great.
Almost makes me embarrassed to post here as I am just a beginner but I've been loving my camera.
This is probably my favorite photo I took this year.

By Daz Go To Post@jar155 - how do I get your job?!
Honestly, you just go for it. If you can invest the time and patience to do it, clients begin to show.

By Daz Go To PostHow do you guys feel about Instax/polaroid cameras -They're cool, man. Shooting is different with all kinds of gear, and shooting Polaroids is it's own take on the art form. Lots of pros carry them to events for fun.
Would that bring shame upon this thread?
