dope
now prep it for trade for a gts / gt4
Kib and I talked about it but the GT4 sounds like an awful driving experience because the induction noise being right behind your head is SO loud it pushes over 100db and gives people headaches
By Rob Go To PostSmokey you ever get your corvette? i was just watching a video on it earlier
nah. timeline is off for me rn. i don't like having more than 1 note, and our macan got a few more years left on it.
think about it all the time though :(. think i've only seen 1 c8 z06 in the streets.
Check engine light on I'm shook
Edit: light literally went off as soon as I checked in for service lmao the nerve of this harlot of a car

Always check your gas cap. It's the culprit 99.9% of the time. Why that's behind a CEL, I don't know. You can always get a cheap OBDII sensor and check it yourself. A lot of them just connect to an app on your phone via a dongle nowadays.
EDIT: Autotrader will check codes for you as well, free of charge.

I know I'm being overly cautious. Could easily be something small or the freeze over the weekend fucking with air intake.

By DY_nasty Go To PostIt was the gas pedal well damnIt was partially stuck or something? Like, the default position for it was partially pressed down?
By Kibner Go To PostIt was partially stuck or something? Like, the default position for it was partially pressed down?No clue honestly. That was probably the last thing I would've guessed
By DY_nasty Go To PostNo clue honestly. That was probably the last thing I would've guessedOn my old Sonata, my battery was draining and I couldn't figure out why for some time. Turns out, it was the brake pedal not going back to the proper neutral position.
The way it worked is that when you push the brake pedal down, it breaks a circuit, which then turns on your brake lights (which is what was draining my battery). When you let go of the pedal, it is supposed to go all the way back up, complete the circuit, and turn off the lights. My pedal wasn't returning to a high enough point to complete the circuit and turn off the brake light so the battery was draining when the car was turned off.
I just had to make a small adjustment on the pedal that was outline in the user manual (iirc), and it was all good again.
Incredible. Here I am spending £800 to get an electric window fixed because the regulator and motor shat the bed at the same time.
I paid half of that for my front suspension work last year ffs lol

Got the car back. All good now.
Fully detailed. Paid nothing.
I can't believe this is how things work lmao

Sold the M4...the shortest I've ever owned a car. 6 months.
Custom ordered a 2024 that has the best manual available by a mile. Hoping for a May delivery. Never custom ordered a car before...

By reilo Go To PostBro, why are you like this 😂
Congrats though
Because the manual in the M4 is garbage after driving the manual GT3 for nearly a month last year. That car's been lodged in my cranium ever since. I bought the M4 to fill that Porsche void. And it didn't...so I did what any normal person would do. Started the process to fill the void.
Meanwhile the Mac's still crushing it. Renewed the warranty for the start of my 3rd year of ownership with it. Still an epic car. Was *this* close to selling the M4 for a Ferrari F430, but then thought against it and well...here I am, joining you. That should make clear what I ordered. LOL
Yeah, cuz Reilo has an automatic Jag, not a manual Porsche. AFAIK, I'm the only one here with a manual Porsche of any kind.
By reilo Go To PostDidn't you just pay off your Cayman? Time for that 4.0 GTS 😈Maybe when hydrogen engines become a thing. lol
Too many other bills to pay right now and I'm enjoying not having a $940 note. Especially with insurance doubling over the last 5 years with only a single windshield crack claim from a rock.
Porsche gang continues to grow. Funny how damn near the entire range is covered lol
911, Panamera, cayman, Macan

Only Taycan missing, which is also the only Porsche I've driven and would be the one I would get if I could.
Traffic is so ridiculous, to make your commute a little more tolerable play some Fortnite while you drive
By DiPro Go To Posti hate all SUVs.
The Rolls Royce Spectre looks awesome
400 lbs of sound deadening material in the car. I really like the design as well. I bet it drives so smooth.
...I'm also sure maintenance costs on a half million dollar car are no joke too sigh
Delivery on the 911S stands at May 10th right now. M4 is gone. Exciting times. My first Porsche. Let's see what I end up driving most, 570S or 911S.
Speaking of the McLaren, check out the new Mat Armstrong video. I race my 570S against his tuned 650WHP Audi RS6 starts at the 28:50 mark

The battery pack is compatible with 320-kilowatt charging "under ideal conditions," according to the brand, so going from 10% to 80% can take approximately 18 minutes. That's in spite of a bigger battery, whose gross capacity increases from 93 to 105 kilowatt-hours.Incredible
They kept the Cross Turismo but cancelled the Sport Turismo I'm so sad. It's inevitable I'll be an EV guy within a decade if the charging infrastructure catches up 😪
Lucid just dropped a cleaver — a very luxurious cleaver, to be sure — on Air prices, saving buyers of the two lowest trims another big bundle, and buyers of one trim a wee little bundle. The latest figures, and their differences from 24 hours ago, are:.
Pure: $71,400 ($7,500 less)
Touring: $79,400 ($8,000 less)
Grand Touring: $111,400 ($1,000 less)
Sapphire: $250,500 (No change)
