What exactly does that mean?
By Linius Go To PostWhat exactly does that mean?Your listening stats are categorized for you to show other people how “unique” and “exquisite” your taste in music is and how that makes you a superior person.

Yeah I know what Spotify wrapped is. But I don't really understand the 'last day' bit. They ping you with a wrapped some time in december iirc. Then you look at it and be like, damn my taste in music is incredible. And you move on. So I wonder what is happening tomorrow.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostMeier Meier pants on fire.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostInteresting! They've confirmed in the past it only ran until 10/31. Obviously good that they're tracking longer though since it didn't make a ton of sense to end it that early. Here is an exercpt from wiki.
While Spotify Wrapped is commonly referred to as an annual collection of data, Billboard and Newsweek have reported that only activity from between January 1 and October 31 of a given year is included.[3] In 2021, a Spotify official told Newsweek that the reasons for this omission are logistical because time is needed for quality assurance and other preparation.[9] According to Katie Wedell of USA Today, some have speculated that the October 31 cutoff is intended to eliminate Christmas music from the data.[10] However, in October 2023, Spotify stated on Twitter that "Wrapped is still counting past Oct. 31", while there have been accounts of Spotify users who sign up for their account after October 31st still getting wrapped summaries based on what they've listened to so far.
