The Magic started like 8-4 and now they have the worst record in the league already, that's incredible.

Why is Melo taking 10 shots inside the arc per game when he's doing terribly inside the arc and never draws any fouls, wtf.
And a stat for Rodeo, Jimmy Buckets leads the NBA in Wins Added according to RPM.

On Tuesday, an ESPN graphic on Twitter revealed Chicago Bulls rookie Lauri Markkanen had nailed 100 3s in the fewest number of games in history (41). On the graph next to Markkanen were other notable shooters such as Stephen Curry (58), Ray Allen (76), Dirk Nowitzki (113), Reggie Miller (116) and Michael Jordan (382).Lol
The player who was actually the record-holder was not on the graphic. It was Lillard, who reached 100 triples in 44 games. Lillard retweeted the graphic with a face palm emoji.
Lillard was also talking about not being an All star again, and lolzno being ahead of him in votes.
Tough time for Dame
Tough time for Dame
Lol fuck Dame.
Dude was such a tryhard on defense when Nash got injured.
I hope Dame has to remain a tryhard at getting into any All Star game, much less list, forever.
Anyway, glad to know it's official now that Markkanen > Dame.

By Kibner Go To PostI mean, the graphic did state it only listed notable players.
Dame rekt lmao.
By diehard Go To Postall joking aside, it was weird to not have the current record holder to compare.Yeah, I just like poking fun when I can cuz it don't happen too often.

Mitchell will probably have the highest scoring average of any guard since Iverson and won't win ROY, thats crazy.
By diehard Go To PostMitchell will probably have the highest scoring average of any guard since Iverson and won't win ROY, thats crazy.he's going to win. Ben is too inconsistant and his assists and rebounds have been down lately.
generally the top scorer wins.

Good thing these guys are good at basketball. I think my bball skills might be better than their drawing skills lol
It takes talent and dedication to be so good at what I do. What else can I say?

By blackace Go To PostHeaven forbid you just go to Danny and make it happen instead of whining about it everywhere.. That's why Jalen called him petty because he was being petty afI don't think anyone doubts he's being petty... or defends that he isn't being petty.
Just think he has the right to be.
I don't even know how it all started.

They had scheduled it for the same game and didn't realize until later.

He has ever right to be because he is a Celtics legend. How hard is that understand? Are you really talking what Draymond said to heart about who PP was as a player.
By diehard Go To PostIf a guy can fill up the stat sheet like Simmons can, and they get to the playoffs? he's a lock.basically. Record is what will seperate Mitchel and Simmons. And Simmons will get it over Tatum because of how good Tatums team already was.
All 3 are really great.
Portland Newspaper Willamette Week had an interesting run of articles about the "Jailblazers" this week.
http://www.wweek.com/sports/2018/01/17/portland-has-forgiven-tonya-harding-but-what-about-the-jail-blazers/
One of their headers was pretty cool, I cropped and resized it.

On defense there's not really an excuse but aren't they making bigs like him hug three point lines now?

By DY_nasty Go To PostYeah. KP is out there guarding wings and looking to run out after turnovers…Yeah it's a common misconeption, but basically, the guys who end up defending nearer to the rim are the ones that will always get more rebounds.
Plus don't they expect him to shoot 3s? That means he's even more out of the paint/midrange to follow up on some stuff.
I'll look at the numbers later but i don't think KP is a good rebounder, regardless of him guarding the perimeter.
Markannen is rebounding better and shooting more threes. He's pretty stretched out on the printer as well. He's a rookie too.
Edit: Lauri has better RB percentages as well. KP's have been the same as last year even with sharing the floor with Kanter

7 boards ain't even bad.
But I think people gotta remember that KP isn't looking to throw the outlet pass, he's trying to run with it himself.

I just think it's weird to get on KP about rebounds when they put him all over the place and expect him to be the playmaker/scorer. He's not just hanging out around the rim without the ball like a lot of centers.
By s y Go To PostHow are you 7'3'' and only grab 7 rebounds a game?
When you have to box out for your point guard so he can get a meaningless statistic in chasing an individual award?
KP needs to bulk up and become smarter about his abilities. His passing has gone to shit this year and he tunnel-visions so much because "hey I'm tall I can shoot over people".
I don't worry about boards because he's active and he'll go through positive regression once he gets into the post more. He goes through stretches where he works down low for a quarter or two, then doesn't for a game. More concerned about his efficiency.

Is anyone surprised though that his talents fresh into the NBA would be squandered by the Knicks and inevitably he'd hit mediocre status.
