Nintendo disagrees.
By Wahabipapangus Go To PostWell everything is working well, but my ram is absolutely refusing to move past 2133mhz. XMP enabled of course but… nothing.I assume you are using this tool? https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryzen-dram-calculator/
Edit: alright finally got it to 3200mhz, but cant get it to 3600mhz. Well whatever I guess.
I was unable to get anything higher than 3200 mhz stable on my Ryzen+ cpu, but you should be able to get higher than that with a Ryzen 2.

Same here, though the stick drift has pretty much killed them now. I tried repairing the original set of Blue/Red joycons with new sticks and the ones that I bought were faulty. Put me off the whole thing.

She even did the upgrade on mine!
The sticks being faulty new is awful and something that would greatly frustrate her, though.

I bought them too, missplaced them somewhere before fitting them. I'll get round to it eventually.
Most recently, earlier today. I put a new WiFi card in her laptop. The stock WiFi card in that Asus laptop is absolute shite, I'll say that much. Not just slow in downloads, it was too slow for online games. Load of connection issues in Fortnite and shit. Told her to get an Intel 9260 and thus far it's been flawless for her.
So eh, if you plan to buy a somewhat budget laptop and are considering the Zephyrus G GA502. Buy a cheap 9260 for £15 and you'll be set.

i have those too (with full on splatoon creepiness everywhere). Got it cause it sold for like 15 euros and never used it. Maybe because it's so ugly.
Fucking FedEx and their bogus delivery dates.
No Ducky today, which means I'm likely stuck with this shitty old backup Logitech keyboard for the weekend.
You only really appreciate how good mechanical keyboards are when you're forced to downgrade to an old membrane.

God I cant believe well this system is running. feel so cummy to be able to do whatever you want and not feel it chugging along at any time.
next upgrade gotta be an ultra wide and then whenever next gen gpu's come around.
also forgot how fucking annoying windows can be, when installing it. it really insisted on me having onedrive, and then uploading all my football manager saves and facepacks (well over 50gb...) and just kept fucking up my connection with me not realizing what was doing it.
Yeah man. I kept using my logitech mechanical keyboard, after i broke it, even with broken keys. Just because the membrane alternative I had felt so bad.

Switched up my display settings on the X27, dropped down to 98hz, 10bit 4:4:4. I don't need the extra 22hz on this screen now I've got the 240hz. Somewhere along the way with doing that, I accidentally got HDR working again too with both monitors plugged in. A happy accident.

What was the issue? Hdr stopped working when you got the second monitor?
I haven't had that issue. I'm even using a DP to DVI adapter to work with my secondary 120hz monitor, although I cant get it to run at 120hz in this setup.
By Smokey Go To PostWhat was the issue? Hdr stopped working when you got the second monitor? It just stopped working correctly, colours and brightness were all out of whack when I tried to enable HDR after getting the second monitor. Dunno what I did to set it right, but I'm not complaining.

I'm using DP1.4 for the 4K screen and HDMI 2.0 for the 1080p/240hz, which to my surprise actually worked fine. I don't think GSync works with it over HDMI though, not that it's an issue for me.
The clues are in the picture, OG FF. Ducky One 2 SF - Year of the Porco edition.

By HottestVapes Go To PostIt's a Ducky SF, a 65% keyboard because he's not fully committed to downsizing yet. What does that mean 65%
That would make it a 35% keyboard m8. Even Vapes is not that nano. It's 65% the size of a standard keyboard.
You guys got me tempted to game on my HHKB again though I don't remember it being a good experience last time.
By FootbalIFan Go To PostAhh I have Logitech G Pro keyboard that doesn't have the numbers on the right, sounds similarThe accepted nomenclature for keyboard sizes is weird as fuck. What you have, most people call a TKL/Tenkeyless keyboard. I don't know why, because it's missing more than 10 keys from a standard full size keyboard and it's roughly 80% of a full size keyboard.
Below that, there's 75% boards that have generally all the same keys/functionality of a TKL board just in a more compact form factor. Depite sharing an identical set of keys, nobody calls them TKL boards.
Shit's stupid.

And then zabos is even smaller at 65%
Does smaller keyboard mean larger penis @zabo
It's not the size, it's how you use the rgb.
I maintain that 65% is the perfect small factor for keyboards. The midi tower of keyboards.
I maintain that 65% is the perfect small factor for keyboards. The midi tower of keyboards.
I could agree with that, but I've not used a 65%. I'm pretty well used to 60% board at this point and I'm too stubborn to change now.
As a side effect of that, my first 60% board had a USA layout, UK layout boards with the big space bar feel fucking alien to me now.

I almost wish I had gone with the USA layout, if only because getting used to it would make choosing future keyboards that much easier, since most of the custom keyboard stuff gets released in ANSI first. In fact, more often than not that's all that's available.
But having a big Enter key is just so comfy, I don't want to give it up.
But having a big Enter key is just so comfy, I don't want to give it up.
Yeah that's a struggle with Danish keyboards as well. We got Æ, Ø and Å here, and I absolutely cant get used to shortcuts for those.
By Wahabipapangus Go To PostYeah that's a struggle with Danish keyboards as well. We got Æ, Ø and Å here, and I absolutely cant get used to shortcuts for those.Wait, where are those letters placed on your keyboard?
We have ČŠŽ, but they simply replace some of the symbol keys left of Enter, and you get those back by combining Alt with some other letter. If you buy a USA / UK keyboard ČŠŽ obviously aren't marked as such on the keys, but it's not like I need them to be after years of conditioning.
Having to access something as commonly used as ČŽŠ is in slovenian via shortcuts your be fucking terrible though, yeah.
i'm starting to come around on those baby keyboards, but think TKL size is probably ideal. are any of these ducky keyboards wireless?

Right, but if you bought a UK or USA keyboard you wouldn't need to get used to any new shortcuts. Those letters would still be there when you'd switch to the Danish keyboard layout in Windows, they just wouldn't be marked as Æ, Ø and Å on the keyboard itself, physically. Not an issue at all.

By rerixo Go To Posti'm starting to come around on those baby keyboards, but think TKL size is probably ideal. are any of these ducky keyboards wireless? There's one, but it's a full-size. And franky I would stay away from any wireless keyboard that isn't gaming-grade, which pretty much limits you to Logitech and Corsair and their (as of now) meagre wireless offerings. Maybe Razer has something with that 1ms wireless tech as well, I'm not sure.
edit WTF the 60% keyboards don't even have arrow keys vapes lad you're a madman
I honestly think 60% keyboards is something I could get used to, but having one column more for the sake of keeping arrow keys and easy access to Del, PgUp an PgDn is totally worth it as far as I'm concerned.
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postbut then how would i make: 'The same way you make it now?

FN+IJKL works fine for me. My most common use for arrow keys is skipping ahead in a YT vid, and that already defaults J/L to backwards and forwards without holding down the function key.
Embrace the smol.
Can't wait for my custom USB-C cable to arrive, it's already been shipped.
I'm definitely drilling a hole for that neato routing. Can't stand a cable in full view. It's ungodly.

Might look into doing that too, having a discreet grommet in the desk to thread my keyboard cable through.
I’m pretty pleased with the magnetic micro usb I went with. Thinking of getting a second one for my controller and phone charger.

You just have to hold alt or fn or something to access them. I like it on my HHKB because the arrow keys, page up/down, and home/end are all right next to each other. Makes document navigation a breeze.

I'll be getting a couple of magnetic USB cables / tips in the coming days as well, just need to re-check the links to the ones I found and saved some months back. Gotta make sure they're the right kind, the ones that snap together regardless of orientation. Gonna incorporate them in the headphones and DS4 chargers I'll be 3D printing soon-ish. Just need to find a couple of hours and get to it.
Phone, not so much. I often charge it when I'm out, it'd be a hassle to pull the thingie out of the charging port every time. Or buy additional magnetic cables just to flex at work and such.
By Zabojnik Go To PostThe same way you make it now?
but that key would be gone (the one next to ø)
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postbut that key would be gone (the one next to ø)No, it wouldn't, lol. That key is there on all QWERTY keyboards m8. It's not like Danish keyboards (or any other regional keyboard, far as I know) have more or less physical keys than your standard USA / UK keyboard. It's just the function and the markings on the keys that changes.
Ah, right, I'm an idiot, you mean with an ANSI / USA keyboard as compared to your ISO keyboard. Hmmm, I'm not sure. Slovenian keyboards have ' on the second key to the left of backspace by default.
You could probably remap it there or to some other symbol key, so you wouldn't have to an Alt + something shortcut.
